Join us for a memorable day exploring the pristine beauty of Rennell Sound, one of Haida Gwaii’s hidden gems. This tour takes you through lush rainforests, along rugged coastlines, and to secluded beaches, offering the perfect opportunity to connect with nature and to discover some of Canada's most beautiful remote beaches.
What to Expect:

Scenic Drive: Enjoy a ~2 hour (~4 hour round trip) through Haida Gwaii’s logging roads including Rennell Pass with beautiful mossy forests and stunning views with possible wildlife sightings.

Nature walks and Photography: Explore old growth forests and coastal landscapes on guided walks of varying difficulty, with great photo opportunities.

Wildlife Watching: Keep an eye out for eagles, seals, whales, and other wildlife, including bears and deer. (Wildlife sighting are possible but are not guaranteed)

Weather-appropriate clothing: Haida Gwaii's weather can be unpredictable, so it's best to dress in layers. Bring a light waterproof jacket, as rain is common, even during summer. A warm sweater or fleece layer is also recommended, especially for cooler mornings or evenings.

Requirements:

A waiver must be signed by all participants prior to the start of the activity.

The walking tour requires a minimum of 3 people and can accommodate up to 5 people. This tour is not a private tour, multiple groups can be added to the tour.

Some hiking/walking experience is recommended for the walking tour, though advanced level skills are not required.

At sign up participants must complete a form providing any relevant medical information, including allergies.

Bookings close at 12 pm the day prior, please call for any last minute bookings, we can try to accommodate
*Please be aware that with 5 people in the vehicle, space may be a bit more limited, but it’s still manageable.
*For the best scenic experience, we recommend checking the Prince Rupert tide schedule before booking. Low tides reveal stunning views, making the journey even more memorable. Regardless of the tide, we guarantee an unforgettable adventure!
